How is this information being used?

How your scores from the assessment are used depends on the program(s) to which you’re applying. In some cases, information provided by the assessment helps inform decisions about who to invite to an interview. In others, assessment scores are instead used to help determine final applicant rankings.

SurgWise retains all data from our assessments to monitor the quality of our assessments, update content, and ensure equity across applicant groups. Your data may also be used for research purposes, although any research published or shared using this data will not contain the personal identifiers for any applicant in any way.
